Will team meisel stop with racing?
Yes, every V8 sounds beautiful, both crossplanes and flatplanes. This Judd CV is a 32-valve DOHC engine. Probably it has flatplane common throw crankshaft.
That’s the thing, it doesn’t sound more like a flatplane to me. There’s these disorganized sound coming out at lower RPM (and a singular howl at high RPM) that makes me think it’s not. But yeah they should be flatplane, who knows though, maybe they built them crossplane to satisfy some twisted sense of muscle-car-ness in the Indy series back when they were running Judds. Maybe its the valves? Are these DOHV or OHV? Either way the sound of a crossplane (and this engine) is beautiful.
Logically it should be flatplane and it sounds more like flatplane, but i’m not 100% sure.
Does anyone know if the Judd V8′s are crossplane? They have this odd blurp to them that makes me wonder. Although it goes against textbook high rpm engine building, flatplane is better for high rpm.

no its really not. if i wanted a dream car i’d go with something alot nicer lookin and not such a huge piece of shit. if i want a mercedez i’ll buy a braubus, Mclaren,SLK 55 amg black series, excelero, or a Rocket…so those 4 cars. alot faster lot nicer lookin cheaper, oh and alot more practival
